K'Naan "Wavin' Flag" (Video)

Didn't realize that there was a version with Will.I.Am and David Guetta, but K'Naan can shine sole or with others alongside him.

Game "400 Bars" (Video)

Thanks to Niz for the heads up on this one. Loved this beat when Jay Elec rode it, but the accompanying visuals to Game's rendition add a nice touch.

Nefew "One Verse" (Video)

We stumbled upon this group via 2dopeboyz a few days ago, and gave it a spin simply because we liked the cover art. In all actuality, the design was the least savvy aspect of the project. The sounds on this album are on par with groups like Stargate, Air, and Massive Attack. The accompanying visuals are a nice touch. Be sure to give these guys a try if you haven't already.

Nas & Damian Marley "As We Enter" (Video)

We've been keeping a close eye out for this project, and we're happy to see it come to fruition. Feels like early nineties when you see the visuals...

The Art of Mobstr

British graffiti artist mobstr. recently had an amusing back-and-forth with the Newcastle City Council, which painted over his stenciled statements directed at them.

Not much is pulling me away from that Kush & Orange Juice right now, but here is the first of two promising anthem albums set loose for the holiday.

RIP Guru

Yeah, you can shout Gang Starr all day, but you don't know jack about Guru unless you're familiar with the photo shown above.

RIP Guru, you will be sorely missed...

Michael Uzowuru "The Mellowest Trip" (Mixtape)

Michael Uzowuru, also referred to as “The Afro Buttefly” is a dope kid and beat maker representing Southern California. His Instrumental Mixtape “The Mellowest Trip” is a mellow, fixating ensemble of jazzy samples, crisp drums and voice over samples from a mixture of films and historical icons. Easy to listen to the mixtape draws you into it’s simplicity to then take you into another world of deep conflict, truth and conviction. This kid is definitely someone to look out for.

The Eruption Of Eyafallajokull

It has been interesting to watch the series of events surrounding the eruption of Eyafallajokull. This one volcano has halted air travel and hampered business, yet at the same time it has produced images that (for at least one split second) make us stop and think...

Exit Through The Gift Shop (Trailer)

Hands down, Banksy is one of our biggest influences. Perhaps second only to SEEN.

Elevated Ruffians: "Magnificent Soul" (Album)

Never heard of these guys prior to today, but figured we'd give them a listen. Hailing from San Bernardino, they come recommended by the gentleman over at East of LA, and our tastes tend to align with theirs. So, without further ado, we presents to you...
