Prior to Friday's festivities, Randall Rufino likened Prince Paul, Peanut Butter Wolf, J. Rocc, Shortkut, Platurn and Dam-Funk to The Avengers, and after catching the crew 45 Live (and direct), it's hard to disagree. Catching any one of these master craftsman solo is a show in and of itself, but for the six to come together to swap cut after cut after cut - each better than the next - garners a geekgasm like no other. Kudos to The 45 Sessions, Stones Throw and MightySF for such a kick-ass event!
