Chase Moore has crafted some very clever cuts for a number of California artists, in addition to producing for Raekwon and Slug among others. However, for all that he has contributed on a mainstream level, it is projects such as this 007-inspired beat tape that truly translate his talent - and not because Bond-based tapes are necessarily new, but because he embellishes them in a way that improve upon the originals (a rare talent these days).
