Honestly, the Super 7 is completely new to us. Although we're obviously fans of each member of the collective (DJ Jayceeoh, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Mick Boogie, Vajra, Gaslamp Killer, Z-Trip, and DJ Revolution), we have never once run across any of the Super 7 mixes. However, we're elated to have done so last night. To say that Volume 5 is eclectic would be a severe understatement, featuring Flying Lotus, Keys-N-Krates, J Dilla, Dead Prez, and far too many more to name in one paragraph. Do yourself a favor and familiarize yourself with the Super 7 (we'll do our part and make it easier by digitally digging for the previous 4 volumes, to be featured later in the week).
