RIP Don Cornelius

Some things never go out of style, and Don Cornelius was one of them. For anyone who grew up in the Soul Train heyday, it's easy to understand the impact that he had on the industry. Ushering in not only funk, soul, and hip-hop acts between 1971-1993, he also helped highlight the behind the scenes talent, including but not limited to the infamous Soul Train dancers. Personally, we have fond memories of our mothers cleaning house every Saturday while Don worked his magic in the background.
