As longtime Miles Davis aficionados, we were skeptical of this project upon first sighting. So much so that we tabled its listening sessions for several days longer than intended, then after listening to the album in its entirety, of course felt foolish for doing so. Knxwledge, Mndsgn, Swarvy, Sir Froderick, Cold Seltzers and Josh Hey have reworked Bitches Brew in experimental fashion, yet not so much so that it does not compliment the original. We have to think that even Miles would have been impressed.
