To be honest, before spotting this at Bama Love Soul we were not aware of the existence of the series at all, and have not heard editions 1-6. However, hearing the seventh installment was enough to make us want to hear each and every one of its predecessors. Trackstar The DJ, who has produced much for many, brilliantly blends Lauryn Hill, The Roots, Black Spade, Freddie Joachim and others, into one cohesive mix that will no doubt be playing in the time machine on the drive to LA today.
