SoulCultureTV Interviews eLZhi [Video]
Because artists (in virtually any form - print, music, multimedia) tend to be so much harder on themselves than anyone else is in terms of performance expectations that we always find it of significant value to hear an artist describe what he/she feels is the best (and in some cases worst) creation to date. The vulnerability in revealing that is sometimes incomprehensible, at least to those who did not contribute to the concept.
Not to mention what is so great about this interview is that eLZhi touches on the topic that we talk about so frequently on this blog - flipping classics. There are many songs considered sacrilegious to switch, but if the scratch-n-swap can get the message across and do the original some justice? Well that's a whole 'nother matter.
